Geometry Club was created in November 2014, purely as a second Instagram account to curate my obsession with neatly aligned architecture photography.

The first few weeks or so were spent uploading a backlog of my own triangular architecture lookups, until I quickly ran out of content.

The consistency of the feed became as interesting as the shots themselves, so I refined and published the rules and opened the feed up to contributions via the hashtag #geometryclub.

Since then, Geometry Club has featured 80 photographs by around 50 individuals in over 20 different countries, all following the same two guidelines.

I love that people, all over the world, are spotting #geometryclub opportunities and sharing them on Instagram.

Thanks to everyone who has submitted, liked, commented and shared over this past year. I’ve got some exciting things planned for the next.

Here’s a short video featuring a handful of submissions from year one.
